About Wasuki Farmers Society

Wasuki farmers society is a farmer organization made by farmers for farmers. The Society is registered vide No. WYD/CA/316/2016 as per Charitable Societies Act 1860 and is having 2100 members in its roll. The major objectives of the society are helping the farmers for assuring livelihood and self reliance, production of safe food, uplifting the downtrodden and backward classes, natural resource management and its optimum use, energy conservation, ensuring the coming generation in agriculture and allied activities, promotion of agro-tourism, undertake various activities in production-service-infrastructure sectors, health related activities including mental health, human resource development, promote integrated and sustainable agriculture, promotion of advanced technologies and indigenous technical knowledge, R&D activities, use of information communication technology (ICT) in agriculture and allied activities etc.

WASUKI Farmers Society is promoting organic vegetable cultivation through individuals and groups at various places in the district with the help of Agriculture Department, Aptech, Kerala AgriculturalUniveraity, University of Calicut.
